Don’t be a conspiracy theorist.
It isn’t distinct tubes, but rather more like a frited disk. The porosity can be controlled very precisely, so there is a consistent average mean x-sectional pathway. It’s basically just a glass cookie. Nothing too complex. Things like this are commonplace in chemical laboratories.
Don’t forget that whatever is new and “2009 technology” for you is at least 30 years in making and under “top secret” mark.
So how did they make the capillary tubes in the bottom of the beaker? They are doing that now for 4th generation night vision systems.
So tell me how he got that 2009 technology in that beaker?
@bmatulis
Thank you for these videos. They may seem old; but are still cutting edge…
if I get some time here.. I’ll capture the video and audio and resync everything
i hate it wen the audio and video are off..
It’s probably a DVD from a VHS from tape, to youtube. This doesn’t surprise me.
Interesting video but the audio sync is so bad I caouldn’t watch it.
Definitely not… it got a 5 from me. If it’s public domain by now I might try to edit it for better synchronization.
But the voice and the animation does not match…
Epic video, the the sound is annoying at times. Not saying its bad, dont vote down
I love this! i wish there were more videos/shows like this around! thanks for sharing!!
This is so fascinating, but it’s strange that there are no other videos on the internet of experiments with liquid helium.
Yes, they used a short clip of it in the recent Absolute Zero special. He was equally surprised to see himself on television! The copyright has long since expired, so they were not obligated to contact him when they used it.
Really your grandfather made this? I just saw it on NOVA!
What a small world.
The sound is way off. Reupload with properly synchronised sound.
as far as I know you can’t compress diamond and I don’t know the answer…
Amazing thanks for sharing!
same….
i love watching this baked
This is a really cool video! Thanks for posting it. This professor and his work are really interesting.
This is amazing. Thanks so much for sharing. I really appreciated it.
love the sound of those old cast iron machines, those things last forever
My grandfather made it in the 1960s.
Where did you get the vidi of this demonstration?
