From a BBC documentary which explores parallel universe theory — that a set of multiple possible universes (including our universe) comprise all of reality. What is a parallel universe? Like an everyday universe it is a region of space and time containing matter, galaxies, stars, planets and living beings. In other words, a parallel universe is similar and possibly even a duplicate of our own universe. Not only in a parallel universe must there be other human beings, but these may be human beings who are exact duplicates of ourselves and who are connected to ourselves through mechanisms only explainable using quantum physics concepts. “Scientists now believe there may really be a parallel universe – in fact, there may be an infinite number of parallel universes, and we just happen to live in one of them. meaning two or a hundred musicians playing the same guitar. The musicians all in diffenert universes and times and that guitar in everyone of those universes at once and those musicians all playing the music all at once.

There’s a universe where you and your girlfriend didn’t break up. There’s also a universe where you and your girlfriend never met. We can only see the universe we’re in. There could be a googol of other universes.

@SakeBottle Since we are a part of the universe, it seems a funny game of hide-and-seek, doesn’t it? Maybe our attempts to examine the universe are more akin to trying to see the very eyes we are looking out from.
The explanation is simple. The universe is a living thing. Each time u make a discovery about it, it tries it’s best to cover it. That’s why we will never find out the secrets of the universe. Never…

I had a theory about parallel universes. If my mum and I hadn’t left Australia, I wouldn’t exist in the UK, but I would exist in Australia.
@mizzglamm22 I don’t think you understand the concept of infinite parallel universes. It is a theory that besides this timeline, there are infinitely different ones which anything can happen. So Elvis could be alive in another timeline. It is just a theory.

Hmm. I wonder how many parallel versions of me are watching this at the moment?
My personal belief is that every decision you make inhibits you to enter a parallel universe so we shift through thousands or millions universes in our lives. For example, say you have a juice glass or water glass on a table and are standing in front of it and your mind decides to take juice, then as you reach out to grab the juice, every single motion of your hand enters different universes in like frames. Same with the water. Theres no scientific proof of this but thats my belief
