Because, he set the equation equal to zero(the y axis being the height(when would the car be at zero height, or hit the ground)), and the equation was then 0 = 50 – 5t^2. So, he had to figure out what t would have to be for 50 – 5t^2 to equal 0. If t = the square root of 10, then the square root of 10 squared = 10. 50-5(10) = 0. So at the square root of 10 seconds, the car hits the ground.

In my poor mind ..If there is agreemnt that light =E appears most easily measured in waves ..yet modern physics proves that light , in fact, is, acutally composed of particles yet the particles continue to present as waves …I Dnno? Does anyone think that might be a fair table of premise to discuss “quants”?
@skatedogg05 again, im not sure what this has to do with anything. there is still a lot of uncrtainty in quantum mechanics. a lot of it deals with probability and/or exists in mathimatical formulas. sure its not as theoretical as string theory, but its still very theorectical. there is still a lot in quantum mechanics that we cannot explain.
@skatedogg05 im not sure what that has to do with the law of attraction. which by the way has been around BEFORE quantum mechanics i believe. people these days just like to use quantum theories to try and validate the law of attraction. but they still cant prove any of its true. plus it can be explained in much more simple ways.

You see a variety of images and sounds that come from the television yet the source where the signals are coming from is emitted by a transmitter possibly hundreds if not thousands of miles away. @timmy47 Quantum physics is everything BUT highly theoretical. Let’s look at cell phones. How is it that you can be inside of a building, car, elevator, etc. and still receive a cell phone call? How is it that cell phone frequencies can pass through solid objects such as glass, steel, brick, mortar, and wood? The answer is because on a quantum physics level frequencies are smaller than the smallest particle known to man which the atom.
@goabundantlife the “secret” is really just positive thinking. theres nothing wrong with that. but its basically just when you are in a negative mind set, you notice bad things more and are less likely to go out and get what you want. the opposite happens when you are positive. to suggest that the universe is manifesting things for you is kind of absurd. quatntum physics is highly theoretical.
What I find very interesting is that most people who do not believe in things like this or “The Secret” or mind body nature connection are so quick to judge and put it down……. my question to those who do not believe in this way of thinking… How happy are you? How much money and desires do you REALLY have? I use the secret, the law of attraction and believe in this “stuff” in conjunction with my belief in God and Jesus, and I PROSPER! I have EVERYTHING you or anyone else would want!
